About Us

The Green River Heritage Society, Inc., a non-profit volunteer group, was organized in 2002 with the sole mission of restoring and interpreting land and buildings that were once part of federal government headquarters for Green River navigation. The property is owned by Butler County but has been entrusted for these purposes to the non-profit organization.
